‘Lines’ is part of a series of abstract drawings, mainly of landscapes that are about free drawing and about the quality of the surface and intensity of the colour.
This one is not a landscape, unless it is a detail of light on water. I can see that. But I also see it as an abstract.
I really love this series because they are so direct and crisp. I mask the edge to frame the image on the paper (it’s A6 on an A4 paper) which gives it more of a print* quality than a drawing. I hope you like them too.
