Growing Greener
I’m Carla Moss and I empower people to design and create a greener present and future for themselves.
I help people by
- teaching green / eco designing techniques, particularly using permaculture frameworks and tools.
- designing spaces for clients that are more environmentally friendly and productive
- facilitating design forums for designers to share designs and receive feedback
- tutoring on the Diploma for Applied Permaculture course (with the Permaculture Association, UK)
People have used these skills to
- feel happier about their relationship with the environment
- improve their health and wellbeing
- have strategies to design choices in closer alignment with caring for the planet

More about my Permaculture experience
Permaculture is described as a lot of things. Here’s one definition: an art of living sustainably.
I first encountered permaculture in 2010 and found it a good fit with my creative interest in the environment. Since then I’ve done the Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC) a Diploma in Applied Permaculture and I’m now a tutor for Diploma apprentices with the Permaculture Association of Great Britain.
Permaculture can help us think through how we design something using frameworks and tools. The ethics and principles give a window to view a design from a more sustainable perspective.
I am a teacher on the Leeds PDC course and on the Board of Trustees for the Permaculture Association.
