Lines Drawing Lines 2
‘Lines Drawing Lines 2’ is part of a series of abstract drawings, mainly of landscapes that are about free drawing and about the quality of the surface and intensity of the colour.
This soft landscape reminds of the endless steppe in Kazakhstan and perhaps it also has an element of me dreaming about the return of the Aral Sea.
I really love this series because they are so direct and crisp. I mask the edge to frame the image on the paper (it’s A6 on an A4 paper) which gives it more of a print* quality than a drawing. I hope you like them too.
Coloured pencil and polish on acid free cartridge paper, 297 x 210mm
